Philippians 3:20

 

²⁰But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ

 

 

There is a clothing line that you can find in many Christian stores the brand name is Not of This World. While the clothing is geared for the younger generation, the message is universal. Our citizenship is not of this world any longer. We work now for what lies beyond the grave. We labor for rewards that will not be tasted tomorrow. AS we come back to work today, and settle in to the grind; before the pressures of the day start to mount, and the workload starts to pile up, let us each reflect on the main point and purpose of our lives. TO bring glory and honor to the Lord. Let us start this week, and each day after, raising his name and his plan above all other things in our lives. Let us each recommit to serve the Lord first, others second, and ourselves third. AS we wait for our Savior, let us stay free of the thorn bushes, and the snares that lay in wait for us. Let us remember that we are working towards a heavenly goal, not a earthly one.
